Rik + Jen's Wedding @ the Chicory, New Orleans

I've known Rik and Jen for years now, and I was really looking forward to helping them capture memories of their wedding. Rik and I went to school together at the University of New Orleans, and have played music together for years. I started off my day capturing some family portraits, while Julie Verlinden started off a little earlier with the ladies, capturing some great moments as they got prepared for the wedding, and a touching first look. After a short but sweet ceremony officiated by the one and only Benny D, including some heartfelt vows that Rik and Jen wrote each other, it was party time at the Chicory. Anyone that knows these two know that they wouldn't throw anything but a fantastic party for their friends, and indeed, it was a burner, with Rik sitting in with multiple bands, and the dance floor full the whole night. Many thanks to these beautiful people for allowing us to be a part of a memorable night!
