Zach and Daphne's New Orleans Wedding at the Audubon Tree of Life and Audobon Tea Room

This was another fun and special wedding for me.  Several years ago, I photographed Zach's sister's wedding, and he and Daphne actually MET AT THE WEDDING!   What a way to come full circle!  I knew this would be a lively crowd, and I was not disappointed.

When I first arrived at the house they were getting ready in, I was greeted with a great spot for some candid, moodily lit natural light shots.

Downstairs in the same property, the guys (Air Force Academy buddies) were getting ready:

Portraits of the bride and groom were shot separately, to leave their first glimpse of each other for the walk down the aisle.

From there, it was just a hop, skip and jump over to the Tree of Life in Audobon Park, for the ceremony.  Beautiful weather, moving vows written by the couple, and some great interaction amongst the guests made it a breeze to capture.

After the ceremony, we shot some nice portraits, and headed off to the reception right around the corner at the Audobon Tea Room.

From there on out it was party time!  Daphne is a coffee aficionado and professional barista, and one of the highlights of the reception was an espresso bar, New Orleans' own Solo Espresso.   As predicted, this was a dancing crowd that never stopped moving.  Memorable moments were plenty, including a Beatles Yellow Submarine handcrafted out of cardboard, a Michael Jackson tribute with light up gloves, and a ton of air guitar.
